Fire and Earthquake Safety Training
Persons with disabilities face several barriers to access information and are three time more vulnerable to disasters.
“Public Safety for Persons with Disabilities” is a project being implemented for strengthening the capacity of persons with disabilities in Disaster Risk Reduction DRR. The project is being supported by USAID’s Tayar/Nepal under this project Atullya Foundation Pvt. Ltd. had conducted Fire Safety and Earthquake Simulation Drill.
To reach targeted audience the organization has developed a public awareness video on fire safety and earthquakes. This video has been made in the interest of persons with disabilities if they are included in disaster risk reduction trainings and practices, they can mitigate and prepare for disasters and prevent loss of lives.
